Casa La Salle is the name of the hotel service of the Jesus Magister Institute….which is the main organizer of the hospitality of the Casa.
Casa per Ferie La Salle fully expresses the spirit of welcome which has always characterized the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools. Cordiality, simplicity and professionalism are the characteristics of the staff who are always available to solve the little problems which can come about when one is staying far from home.
Since 1959, Casa La Salle has been offering hospitality to pilgrims and not only sharing their needs but learning to anticipate them and respond to them. It was originally devoted to members of the Congregation of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, to university students and to those in residence following courses of formation. From 1980, hospitality has been extended to include persons who, in some way connected with the Lasallian identity, were looking for accommodation on the occasion of group or individual pilgrimages, or visits of a cultural nature and wished to spend a few days in peace and quiet or on retreat. Thus Casa La Salle has become a Holiday House able to offer hospitality services for groups, families or individual guests 365 days a year.
Other than for pleasure, the reason for coming can also be connected with work: General Chapters of Religious Congregations, courses, gatherings, conferences, days for reflection, university activities and fields of study. The premises, in fact, contain spaces and equipment for meetings and conventions as well as facilities for simultaneous translation. Casa La Salle forms a physical unit with the Mother House of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, a Religious Congregation founded in France in 1680 by Saint John Baptist De La Salle, an illustrious educator from the end of the 17th Century to the beginning of the 18th (1651-1719).
